Press Trust of India New Delhi
Continuing its rising streak for the third day, cardamom prices added 0.31% to Rs 950.90 per kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions, supported by rising demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in September went up by Rs 2.90, or 0.31% to Rs 950.90 per kg in business turnover of 156 lots.

Likewise, the spice for delivery in October edged up by 50 paise, or 0.05% to Rs 932.90 per kg in 11 lots.

Market analysts said apart from rising demand in the spot markets, restricted arrivals from producing regions, mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
