Cardamom prices fell by 0.55% to Rs 872 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid subdued demand in the spot market.
Adequate stocks position in the physical market on increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in November declined Rs 4.80, or 0.55% to Rs 872 per kg in business turnover of 105 lots.
