Cardamom prices traded marginally higher by 0.37 per cent to Rs 1,035 per kg in futures trade today as participants built up fresh positions, taking positive cues from spot market on improved demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in May was trading higher by Rs 3.80, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 1,035 per kg in business turnover of 8 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders due to pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions, mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
