Cardamom prices eased by 0.14% to Rs 714 per kg in futures market today as participants trimmed their positions, taking negative cues from spot market on sluggish demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in far-month January 2016 traded lower by Re 1, or 0.14% to Rs 714 per kg in business turnover of 50 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by traders, driven by subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly helped cardamom prices to trade lower at futures trade.
