Model-turned-singer Carla Bruni is set to front a new car advertisement in which she will portray the French National soccer team coach.
France's former First Lady, who famously romanced Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger, has teamed up with bosses at US carmaker Ford to star in the new brand-promoting video, reported New York Times.
It is all part of a conceptually abstract ad campaign by Ford Motor, which hopes 47-year-old Bruni's aura can create an allure for its brand in France that its cars have been unable to do on their own.
