Car service aggregator Carworkz today said it will expand to five cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru, as it looks to tap into the Rs 30,000 crore car after-sales service market in the country.
The company, which is a part of 'Start up Garage' of the Mahindra Group, has already on-boarded over 1,000 workshops and 5,000 users in Mumbai during the test phase.
"We now aim to increase our footprint to five cities in the calendar year, building a user base of one lakh car owners and supporting over 4,500 workshops," Carworkz CEO Tarun Gupta said.

The Carworkz platform will allow car owners of all brands to find their nearest workshop, compare services offered by a workshop and the charges for those.
Customers will also see ratings and reviews by fellow car owners, helping them make well-informed car servicing decisions.
"The app aggregates information on all kinds of workshops, from authorised service centres (ASC), multi-brand chains (MBC) and independent garages. These are listed after a profiling exercise to authenticate their services and existence," Gupta said.
The company is also working on an assurance programme to ensure quality standards for services booked through the platform.
"Additionally, in our bid to work at both ends of the spectrum, we will also provide listed workshops with a digital presence, and support them with their back-end operations," he said.
