Carzonrent aims Rs 2,500-cr revenue in 4 yrs

Taxi service provider Carzonrent today launched mobile application for corporate customer to meet its revenue target of Rs 2,500 crore over the period of next four years from the enterprise segment.

"At present B2B (business-to-business) segment is estimated to be around Rs 15,000 crore and is expected to reach Rs 25,000 crore by 2020. We are targeting about 10 per cent market share which is around Rs 2,500 crore," Carzonrent MD and CEO Rajiv Vij said.

The company said that it has invested around Rs 85 crore in last 1.5 years to build technology platform including 'Cor Ride App', which was launched today.
 

To support and achieve the growth target, Vij said Carzonrent plans to scale up the infrastructure involving deployment of in-car hardware, software development and increasing staff-strength in its National Command Centre (NCC) and the Research & Technology Development Lab (COR Lab) in Bengaluru.

"Employee strength at NCC will be increased by three times from the current 200 and COR Lab's employee strength will also be quadrupled from the current workforce of 50 in next 3-4 years," Vij said.

The company's has about 600 corporate client including Amazon, Accenture, PWC, United health Group, Capgemini, Flipkart, Ernst and Young , Citibank, Cognizant, Nomura, McKinsey, Wipro, Google and TCS.

The Carzonrent app has multi-lingual interface available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
