District administration today ordered to lodge FIRs against three sugar units here for the non-payment of cane dues to farmers worth over Rs 800 crore.
"Following the instructions of the district magistrate, the secretaries of the cane development societies of Pallia, Gola and Khambharkheda sugar units have been instructed to lodge FIRs in the police stations of their jurisdiction," District cane officer JC Yadav said.
The three units have not yet cleared the outstanding cane dues of over Rs 800 crore despite repeated warnings, he said.
