Ajay Kumar Sharma lodged an FIR yesterday alleging that contractor Saleem Siddiqui, sub-let him work of wall cladding and stone flooring at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal, they said.
Sharma said that he carried out the work between September to December 2010, but Siddiqui made part payment and failed to clear dues to the tune of Rs 2.98 lakh.
The complainant alleged that when he contacted Siddiqui for payment of dues, the latter threatened him with dire consequences.
