Case against Ramky Group for land-grabbing

Cyberabad Police here today lodged a case against a city-based infrastructure firm for illegally occupying government land.

Mandal Revenue Officer Rajesheshan has filed a complaint against Ramky Group which illegally "grabbed" two acres of government land in Anjaiah Nagar.

The case, registered at Raidurgam police station, also names two senior officials of the company, identified as Hariharan and Mallikarjun.

The case has been filed for criminal trespass, other relevant offences under the Indian Penal Code, and the Land Grabbing Act, police said.

Ramky Group officials were not available for comment.
