A case has been registered by the Delhi Police against a TV channel journalist following a complaint of rape by a woman, a senior Delhi Police officer said tonight.
The woman alleged that she came in contact with the man in 2016 and she was offered a job in the channel which she joined in April 2017, Additional Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) B K Singh said.
"She alleged that she was raped by the man on June 9 last year at his residence on the pretext of marriage and several times later on," the officer said.

She filed a complaint against the journalist on February 13 and the case was registered last night at the Tughlak Road police station, the police officer said.
Her statement was recorded before a magistrate, Singh said, adding no arrest has been made.
