Case lodged against Telangana CM by cash-for-vote case witness

A case has been lodged against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by one Jerusalem Mathaiah, who is one of the accused in the cash-for-vote case, at the Satyanarayanapuram police station today, police said.

Satyanarayanapuram police inspector M Satyanarayana Rao said that a case has been registered against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao under Section 506, Section 507, Section 389 and Section 195-A of the IPC, under the Vijayawada police commissionerate.

In his complaint, Mathaiah alleged that some followers of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao visited his house in Hyderabad and threatened him and his family members, to give a statement against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
 

His complaint alleged that Rao's followers also took him to some unknown places and assaulted him several times, due to which he came to Vijayawada in order to be safe in his relative's house.
