Police have registered a case of criminal trespass and intimidation against three officials of a coal washerycompany following a complaint by a farmer in Chhattisgarh's tribal-dominated Korba district.
The case was registered last evening against the officials of Aryan Coal Beneficiation (ACB) on the direction of a court, but no arrest has been made yet, said the Korba additional superintendent of police Tarkeshwar Patel.
The company's plants are located in Dipka area of the district, around 225 km from the state capital Raipur.

Adbad Singh (85), a local farmer who belongs to a tribal community, had moved the court over the issue.
Singh owns land at two places near the company's plants. He had complained that the company had set up a coal washery next to his land without his consent, and was releasing effluents into the field resulting in crop loss, the ASP said.
He also alleged that the company forcibly occupied another piece of land owned by him, measuring around one hectare, and constructed a dirt road on it for the use of its heavy vehicles.
After a hearing on June 27, the special judge for SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act cases Vijay Kumar Ekka directed the police to register a case against general manager of ACB's Binjhra coal washery Gowardhan Mallik, GM of Krishnanagar washery Ravish Chowdhary, and Yashpal Singh, an official of ACB Coal and Power Plant at Chakabuda, the ASP said.
A case under IPC sections 426 (mischief), 447 (criminal trespass) and 506(B) (criminal intimidation) alongwith offences under TheScheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes(Prevention of Atrocities) Act was registered against them and further probe was on, the ASP said.
Company officials were unavailable for comment.
