Suspended CBI court judge Talluri Pattabhirama Rao's son T Ravi Chandra and lawyer T Aditya, facing charges of conspiring with others to secure bail for Reddy in Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) case, were given bail by Anti-Corruption court here.

The court asked them to furnish personal bonds of Rs 50,000 each and two sureties, and to surrender passports.

Ravi Chandra was arrested by Andhra Pradesh ACB on June 16, while Aditya had surrendered before the court on July 19.

The ACB registered the case on June 9 against Pattabhirama Rao and seven others. The agency, which has filed two chargesheets so far, has arrested three serving judges including Pattabhirama, and eight others.

The case was first exposed by CBI, after Pattabhirama Rao, an additional special judge of CBI court, granted bail to Janardhan Reddy while rejecting the bail plea of suspended IAS officer Y Srilakshmi in the same case, on the same day.

Amid allegations of bribe-taking against Pattabhirama Rao, the High Court suspended him, and asked ACB to probe the matter.
