Some unidentified persons allegedly looted cash, jewellery and a mobile phone from a house in Bhatta Basti area here, police said today.
The incident came to light when the house owner Rajendra Prasad returned home and found the locks broken, SHO Bhatta Basti Raghuveer Singh said.
"Some cash, jewellery and a mobile phone was stolen by the thieves. The matter is under investigation," Singh said.
In another incident, a woman was allegedly raped late last night and her family was robbed by five unidentified persons in Vaishali Nagar area, police said.
