Castor seed prices dipped by Rs 26 to Rs 5,776 per quintal in futures trade Wednesday after investors tightened their bets amid weak trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, castor seed for June contracts was trading lower by Rs 26, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 5,776 per quintal in 233,880 lots.
Castor seed prices for July contracts, too, fell by Rs 30, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 5,860 per quintal having an open interest of 15,715 lots.
