It said that the sale of vouchers will end on September 17. The CAT test will be held between October 11 to November 6.
According to a statement released by the IIM, the current registration trend indicates a slightly higher percentage of female candidates this year.
"It is encouraging to see more females coming forward this year to challenge their male counterparts in gaining admission to the IIM," said S S S Kumar, who is the convenor of CAT-2012.
Prometric will be holding the on-line CAT test this year also on behalf of the IIM.
