With allocation of portfolios to the two newly appointed members, CBDT has become full house after being vacant for over a month.
Last week, senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers Nishi Singh and Gopal Mukherjee were appointed to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the policy-making body of the Income Tax department under the Finance Ministry.
While Singh has been given the Personnel and Vigilance charge, Mukherjee has been allocated the Revenue portfolio.

The other officers of the seven-member board include Chairman Atulesh Jindal, Sushil Chandra (Investigation), S K Sahai (Income Tax), Rani S Nair (Legislation and Computerisation) and R C Mishra (Audit and Judicial).
"The board had two vacancies for over a month and with the appointment and allocation of the two members, it is in full strength now," a senior official said.
