CBI arrests Delhi Police Sub Inspector

CBI has arrested a Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police posted at Police Station Tilak Nagar for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant.

CBI sources said a case was registered on the allegations that the Sub-Inspector Daya Kishan had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant to facilitate him for securing anticipatory bail in a criminal case which was being investigated by the said Sub-Inspector.

"CBI laid a trap and the Sub-Inspector was caught for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant," CBI spokesperson said.
