The CBI has arrested a coaching institute owner for allegedly cheating unemployed youths by promising them jobs in bogus organisations claiming them to be related to central ministries.
Khushi Mohammed of Kota, Rajasthan was arrested under sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (cheating) of IPC and 66D of Information Technology Act-2000) on a complaint received from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
A victim of the case had also approached the agency, the sources said.

"It was alleged that some unknown persons had cheated the unemployed youths in the name of employment to various posts in a bogus government organisation with the name 'Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Saurya Urja Evam Jan Kalyan Sansthan'," the CBI spokesperosn said.
It is suspected that Mohammed cheated around 15,000 youths to the tune of around Rs one crore, she said.
The accused also created some websites for this purpose, the spokesperson said.
The agency located Mohammed and carried out searches at seven places in Kota which led to recovery of incriminating documents including mobile phones, laptops and fake websites material, she said.
