Acting on a complaint by Additional Programme Officer (APO) of Banka district, Arvind Kumar, the CBI team caught Senior Accounts Officer Rajdev when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from the APO in his office, CBI SP Vijay Kumar Singh said.
An Assistant Accounts Officer Rajesh Kumar was also held for demanding the bribe from the APO yesterday and asking him to pay the amount to Rajdev, he said.
The officials had asked for the bribe for clearing four bills, he added.
