A day after the Enforcement Directorate interrogated painter Shuvoprasanna, considered close to the Trinamool Congress top leadership, in connection with the Saradha Scam, the Special Crime Branch of CBI today questioned him regarding transaction which he had made with Saradha Group chief Sudipta Sen.

CBI sources told PTI that he appeared before the CBI Special Crime Branch on the basis of a summon which was served on him to explain his stand on the sale of his still-born TV channel to Sen.

Shuvoprasanna reportedly sold his TV channel at a price which CBI wants to ascertain and also to find out whether there was any conspiracy behind this, the sources said.

Meanwhile, Goutam Kundu, chief of Rose Valley, another ponzi firm, was also interrogated today by the ED under the provisions of the Preventions of Money Laundering Act.

ED sources said that nearly 2,500 bank accounts of Rose Valley had been frozen by the probing agency.

ED sources said Kundu had also submitted documents to the agency as desired by it.
