CBI is likely to register a case soon to probe alleged irregularities in purchase of high-altitude tents by Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), the country's external intelligence gathering wing.
Official sources said the CBI has received a request for a probe into the purchase of tents during 2010 by the Special Frontier Force (SFF), which was created by RAW.
The papers sent by the intelligence agency are being scrutinised and a case is likely to be registered in the coming week, the sources said.
