"The raids were conducted at houses and offices of CCL's Dhori Project Officer A K Choudhary, Managers S K Singh and Birendra Singh and Staff of Mining B K Jha," CBI SP (Dhanbad) Pramod Kumar Majhi said.
He said several documents were seized and the two officials questioned.
The CBI had lodged an FIR in 2010 in connection with shortage of coal of 12.5 lakh tonne, he added.
