Efforts to contact Kumar did not fructify and messages on his mobile were unanswered.
The CBI alleged Kumar, Financial Advisor and Chief Administrative Officer at EPFO here, and his wife had amassed Rs 6.40 crore worth of disproportionate assets during 2006-15.
"It was alleged that the said officer of EPFO had accumulated assets in his name and in the name of his family members which are disproportionate to his known sources of income. It was further alleged that his wife abetted him in the offence by investing the money through the said firms," a CBI Spokesperson had said on December 22.
