A three-day national Annual Sahodaya
convention of Principals of CBSE schools began here today.
As part of the conference, a 'Run for Unity' organised on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was flagged off by CBSE Chairman Vineet Joshi.

At the inaugural function, CBSE Director Sadhna Parashar said children should be given the opportunity to practice what is being taught in the classroom in their day-to-day life.
"Children belonging to the 21st century should have strong technical knowledge and they should learn to face problems intelligently," she added.
CBSE General Convenor Indira Rajan, were among those who spoke.
The convention's main theme is 'Life Skill education'. There will be nine sub-themes. Seminars and discussions will also be held as part of the convention, being held for the first time in Kerala.
The valedictory function will be held on Sunday in which HRD Minister Smriti Irani is likely to participate.
