The Competition Commission has rejected charges against real estate firm Bestech India that it abused its dominant position in the market with respect to selling commercial IT space in Gurgaon.
A complaint by an individual had accused Bestech India of unfair and discriminatory conditions on buyers of office space at its cyber complex in Gurgaon.
In an order released recently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) said that "no prima facie case of contravention of the provisions of...The (Competition) Act is made out against the opposite parties in the instant matter".

"Thus, prima facie, the opposite party does not appear to be in a dominant position in the relevant market."
The complainant had submitted that it booked four office in December 2006 in Orient Bestech Business Tower, Gurgaon, Haryana and made the payment towards the booking amount.
