CCL to build 91 toilets in Varanasi under 'Swachh Bharat'

The Central Coalfields Limited has proposed to build 91 toilets in Varanasi as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign.

"A team of civil engineers headed by staff officer, civil, of Rajrappa area returned from Varanasi after surveying areas for construction of toilets as part of the Prime Minister's Swachh Bharat campaign," R B Prasad, General Manager (Corporate Social Responsibility) of the CCL said here today.

"The Central Coalfields Limited's (CCL) Rajrappa project has been given the task to build 91 toilets in Varanasi," he added.

As part of the campaign, he said 7,296 toilets would be constructed by CCL in Jharkhand and other places of the country.
 

Altogether 1,464 toilets would be constructed in Odisha, he said. The coal major would also build toilets at Garhwa, Palamau, and Chatra districts in Jharkhand.
