Union Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha today said the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) will participate in the development of neighbouring districts of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh.
"An agreement in this regard has been finalised. CCL will nominate two of its top officials to the District Vigilance Committees of Hazaribagh and Ramgarh and will monitor development works," Sinha told a press conference here.
Stating that a total 50 major development projects were finalised, he said the project of underground sewerage system in Hazaribagh town was expected to be completed by 2017.

It would cost an estimated Rs 135 crore, he said.
Hazaribagh Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar, who was present at the press meet, said the sewerage system project would be conducted by Tata Consultative Services.
Sinha said Chief Minister Raghubar Das would lay the foundation stone of the 200-bedded super speciality hospital-cum-medical college at Hazaribagh by this month end.

Raju said Sinha's passion and wisdom would be a "force multiplier" for the ministry.
