Former 'Voice' judge Cee-Lo Green has decided to cancel his show in Israel amid the heated tension in the area.

Green, 40, was supposed to perform at Jerusalem's Independence Park on August 19, but the promoter said the scheduled show would not take place, reported Ace Showbiz.

"The artist and his crew really wanted to come, but unfortunately we were the ones who had to postpone it because this is not the right time to advertise and push a concert and also because Israel Defense Forces' regional Home Front Command allows gathering of up to a thousand people only," said promoter Carmi D Wurtman.

The gig will be rescheduled for late October.

Green is among other singers who decided to cancel their appearances due to the ongoing conflicts. Backstreet Boys announced similar decision, saying that their three-night gig which was scheduled starting from July 29 was axed.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse shared similar news in the same month.
