Stamping mark on the fabled Anglo-Indian cuisine of the erstwhile second British empire, celebrity chef-entrepreneur Anjan Chatterjee now recreates a Ripon Street household in his flagship Bengali specialty joint.
From boneless turkey to roasted duck satiated with vintage wine the offerings and the decor will resemble the interiors of Anglo Indian neighbourhood like Ripon street, Bow Barracks and Beckbagan - in the flagship arm of the speciality cusine frequented by celebs in Mumbai and Kolkata.
"Based on the inputs of the members of Anglo-Indian community, living in the city for generations, and Britishers we have sought to make the delicacies stripped of the typical restaurant flavor and used the herbs and spices they use for years within their households," the pricipal chef of Anjan's 'Oh Calcutta' said.
