Tata Power CEO Praveer Sinha has been awarded the 'Central Board of Irrigation and Power Award' for his contribution in the power distribution sector.
The award, instituted by the CBIP, was conferred on him at its 90th anniversary celebrations yesterday.
The award was presented by Minister of State for Water Resources Sanjeev Kumar Balyan at the Scope Convention Center here.
"The award recognises Sinha's outstanding contribution demonstrated through excellent leadership and exemplary performance. He has over 30 years of experience in developing and setting up Greenfield and Brownfield Power plants in India and abroad," Tata Power said in a statement today.
