JD(U) President Sharad Yadav has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging "non implementation" of reservation policy by central institutions in accordance with the 93th amendment of the Constitution and requested action in this regard.
Attaching with his letter a representation given by Lawyer's Forum for Social Justice, Yadav told the PM that he himself has been writing to the government regarding non-implementation of reservation policy by AIIMS in Delhi and other central institutions.
"But no concrete steps have been taken by the government so far. I shall be grateful if you kindly direct the concerned ministry to take the corrective steps immediately," Yadav said in the letter.
