The three-member Commission for Agriculture Costs and Prices led by Ashok Gulati has even asked other states to "imitate" the Chhattisgarh model.
"The panel has lauded computerisation of ration distribution system and paddy procurement in the naxal-affected state," official sources said today.
The Central delegation comprises a member of the commission Vishan Das and secretary Anandi Subramaniyam, besides the chairman Ashok Gulati.
According to officials, the team visited the cooperative committee at Tumgaon in Mahasamund district to examine paddy procurement process and also took stock of the quality of paddy besides inquiring about the facilities that are being provided to farmers.
Apart from this, the panel also visited a rice mill at Bemcha to take notice of custom milling and took note of the grievances of the mill owners, sources added.
