Central Railway (CR) will run 142 special trains between different stations in Maharashtra and adjoining Goa to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Ganpati festival.
Reservation date for these trains, to be operational from August, will be announced later, a CR release said here.
Train No. 01021/01022 CST Mumbai-Karmali (Goa) would have 40 trips and operate from August 27 to September 18. It will leave CST Mumbai at 12.20 am daily (except Thursday) and arrive at Karmali at 2.30 pm the same day.

Trains nos 01003/01004 CST Mumbai-Karmali weekly specials would have 6 trips between the two destinations.
Train no 01095/01096 Dadar-Sawantwadi tri-weekly specials would have 22 trips. Train No. 01095 will leave Dadar at 07.50 am on every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday from August 26 to September 18 and arrive Sawantwadi at 7 pm the same day.
On return, train No. 01096 will leave Sawantwadi at 04.50 am on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from August 27 to September 19 and arrive at Dadar at 4 pm the same day.
Train nos 01089/01090 Dadar-Ratnagiri weekly specials will make 10 trips.
Train No. 01089 will leave Dadar at 9.45 pm on every Friday from August 26 to September 23 and arrive Ratnagiri at 6 am the next day. On return journey, train No. 01090 will leave Ratnagiri at 09.20 am on every Saturday from August 27 to September 24 and arrive Dadar at 4.40 pm.
Train nos 01037/01038 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Sawantwadi Tri-weekly specials will make 28 trips.
Train No. 01037 Special will leave LTT at 05.30 am on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from August 25 to September 24 and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 4 pm the same day.
In return direction, train No. 01038 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 06.40 am on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from August 26 to September 25 and arrive at LTT at 6.30 pm the same day.
