Central Tibetan admn condoles death of Margaret Thatcher

The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) at Dharamsala has condoled the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

"With her passing away, the world has lost a great leader, a woman who lived an exemplary life to prove that there is no glass ceiling, a woman with determination, cannot break and thus acting as a great inspiration for humankind," stated Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay in a condolence letter sent to her son, Sir Mark Thatcher.

Britain's first woman Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, known as the Iron Lady, passed away on April 8 following a stroke at the age of 87.
 

Thatcher was Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990.
