Centralised call centre of Jaipur Discom launched by Raje

A centralised call centre of Jaipur Discom, set-up for quick disposal of customer complaints, was inaugurated today by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

Raje inaugurated the call centre by making the first call. At the launching and review of Energy Department at her residence, she asked the officers to make efforts for quick disposal of the complaints, a release said.

The officials of the department informed that 6 types of complaints can be registered on the call centre and time limit has been fixed for disposal of the various complaints.

While reviewing the progress of the implementation of the budget announcements and achievements of the department, Raje asked the officers to make result oriented efforts to check power theft and said that it should be ascertained that sufficient power is supplied during the summer season.
 

The chief minister said that the targets set by the department should be met in a time-bound manner.

She also asked the officers to conduct field visits regularly and directed them to replace meters which are defective for more than two years, on a priority basis.
