Centre gave projects worth Rs 1.75 lakh crore to AP: Gowda

Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda today said the Centre has allocated major projects to the tune of Rs 1.75 lakh crore to Andhra Pradesh.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that the nation would be transformed into a new India by following co-operative federation and maintaining cordial relations with the states," the Minister for Statics and Programme Implementation told reporters here.

Meanwhile, addressing a programme here, Gowda said free LPG connections were provided to two crore "poor families".

Earlier, he participated in a cleanliness programme at Sultanagar village.
