Frequent criticism of the Uttar Pradesh government by Union ministers and ignorance of the state by the Centre may force Samajwadi Party to reconsider its decision to support UPA-II, a top party leader said today.
"Central ministers come to Uttar Pradesh and criticise our government. They have started demanding our resignations. Till what time should we continue our support?" SP national general secretary Naresh Agarwal said.
"We may suffer losses in (upcoming Lok Sabha) elections (due to the support)," he said before attending the party's state executive meeting here.

"All these factors may force us to reconsider our decision to support the UPA government," he said.
Samajwadi Party, with 22 Lok Sabha MPs, supports the UPA from the outside.
