Manipur's Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam today said the framework agreement signed between NSCN (IM) and Centre is actually a "time bomb" for the northeast region.
Wondering why the contents of the agreement has not been disclosed to the public, Gaikhangam described the agreement as a ticking "time bomb".
"It is a time bomb ticking for the region (north-east)," he commented at the inaugural function on Panchayati Raj here.

Training his gun on BJP, the Deputy CM said the saffron party has been gaining strength in the state by taking in frustrated politicians.
"These politicians just want power but have no political place in Manipur. In fact, there is no scope for BJP in our state," Gaikhangam said.
Gaikhangam, the former president of MPCC, further predicted that those who will not get BJP tickets in the ensuing assembly elections would do harm to the party.
