Punjab and Andhra Pradesh have been given Rs 805.17 crore and Rs 549.60 crore, respectively from National Small Savings Fund (NSSF), the central government said today.
These releases are in the nature of investment of NSSF in the Special State Government Securities.
The final release of funds was made against collections made under Small Savings Schemes and amount received on redemption of special State Central Government Securities

The Government of Punjab has been released an amount of Rs 805.17 crore, taking the total amount released against small savings collections to it to Rs 2,045.16 crore for the current fiscal.
In case of Andhra Pradesh, total amount has increased to Rs 1096.35 crore for the 2014-15 fiscal.
