The Centre has released Rs 2,062 crore for Telangana under the MN-NREGS, the state government said here today.
State Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao has directed officials to speed up works under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme during the next three months, it said in a release.
Rao had held several rounds of talks with the Centre for the release of funds, it added.
