Speaking on the sidelines of an event here, Badal said he has already apprised the Prime Minister regarding the clash between the two factions of the Akali inside the premises of Rakabganj Gurudwara in Delhi on November 15.
Warning Centre and the Congress party not to interfere in the religious affairs of Sikh community, Badal said the "ill-conceived" move would vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in Punjab.
Badal said if the situation gets out of hand then the entire onus would be on the Centre.
The Chief Minister said it was "unfortunate and unjustified" on part of the Delhi government to pave way for direct elections to the President of DSGMC since such a provision was not applied in the election of any governmental post.
Meanwhile, referring to the verbal spat between Health Minister Madan Mohan Mittal and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Navjot Kaur Sidhu over the recent sting operation to nab the government doctors indulging in private practice, the Chief Minister said both of them have amicably resolved the issue.
Whosoever is found to be indulging in any malpractice or any wrong doing would not be spared would be punished in accordance with the law, Badal said.
Reiterating SAD stand on FDI in multi-retail sector, the Chief Minister said, "We are against it from the day one. Just because one thing suits a particular economy doesn't mean that it will be beneficial to the other."
Replying to a query, Badal said Congress MPs from Punjab should now mount pressure on the Centre for more developmental projects and schemes in the state considering they have got considerable share in the Union Ministry with four Ministers.
