Cera board to consider entering into JV

Cera Sanitaryware today said its board will meet next week to consider entering into a joint venture for sanityware and tiles manufacturing.

"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on June 11, 2015, inter alia, to consider entering into a Joint Venture for sanitaryware and/or tiles manufacturing," Cera Sanitaryware said in a filing to BSE.

The company however did not give any details about the proposed joint venture.

Last month Cera had entered into a marketing agreement with ECE Banyo, owners of Italian Luxury Sanitaryware brand ISVEA for sales, distribution and marketing of the brand in India for a period of 5 years.
 

Cera Sanityware's current product portfolio includes high end showers, steam cubicles, and whirlpools, besides sanitaryware and faucets.

The company scrip closed at Rs 2,152.95, down 3.43 per cent, on the BSE.
