Cera Sanitaryware Q1 profit rises 36.6% to Rs 21 cr

Bathroom products maker Cera Sanitaryware today reported a 36.59 per cent increase in standalone net profit to Rs 21.39 crore for the first quarter ended June.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 15.66 crore during the April-June quarter of 2015-16, Cera Sanitaryware said in a BSE filing.

Its standalone net sales rose 12.18 per cent to Rs 223.94 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 199.62 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

In a separate filing, Cera Sanitaryware informed that its board in a meeting held today has appointed J K Taparia as additional director of the company.
 

Cera Sanitaryware shares today closed 1.33 per cent down at Rs 2,435 on BSE.
