CGRF to hear power consumers' grievances

The members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will visit various districts next month to hear complaints and grievances of power consumers.

A spokesman of the discoms said here today that the proceedings of the CGRF will be held at Ambala on February 3, Sonepat on February 6, Panipat on February 7 and Karnal on February 12, respectively.

It would be held at Kurukshetra on February 13, Rohtak on February 17, 19 and 28, Yamuna Nagar on February 21, Jhajjar on February 25 and Kaithal on February 26.

As a result, the consumers from distant places will not be required to go to the office at Panchkula for redressal of their grievances, he said.
 

The CGRF will take all grievances/complaints of consumers like billing problem, voltage complaints, problems in metering, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability, non compliance of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders, he added.
