The two-day Chambal International Film Festival, which would screen 160 films from across 28 countries will kick off in Kota from March 10.
The film festival, organised by Anugoonj Media Pvt. Ltd at UIT auditorium here, would showcase at least 160 short films, documentaries, music videos and animation films.
Nominations of at least 316 films from 28 countries such as US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, France, Japan, and China have been received for the event, Festival director Kapil Siddharth said.

The audience will get a chance to watch some wonderful short films, documentary films, animation films and music videos of various international film makers, Siddharth said, adding this is for the first time that an international film festival is being organised in Kota, the city known by many as country's coaching hub.
Renowned lyricist Sayeed Quadri, acclaimed DOP and film maker Mazhar Kamran, singer and music composer Kshitij Tarey would be members of the jury that would declare the awards to deserving film makers, Siddharth said.
