Chana prices dropped by 2.16 per cent to Rs 5,199 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid fall in demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in November fell by Rs 115, or 2.16 per cent to Rs 5,199 per quintal with an open interest of 42,210 lots.
