At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chana for delivery in July month eased by Rs 9, or 0.21 per cent to Rs 4,334 per quintal with an open interest of 13,040 lots.
Also, the commodity for delivery in August contracts shed Rs 5, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 4,463 per quintal in 1,85,540 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at existing levels, fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stock position mainly kept pressure on chana prices.
