Chana prices eased by 0.10 per cent to Rs 4,156 per quintal in futures trade Friday as speculators reduced their exposure.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in December fell by Rs 4, or 0.10 per cent, to Rs 4,156 per quintal, with an open interest of 11,580 lots.

The commodity for delivery in November declined by Rs 2, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 4,130 per quintal with trading open interest of 43,530 lots.

Marketmen said cutting down of bets by traders on the back of easing demand in physical market against adequate stocks position, mainly influenced chana prices at futures trade.
